Colorful Dotticure Nails

Today I have a super simple yet pretty nail design for you! All you need are some toothpicks, some nail polishes of your choice, and a black background polish. Enjoy! 

Step1. Apply a base coat first. Then apply a black nail polish. I chose this one with a bit of a sparkle, but it will work will any black polish. 

Step2. Start with your first color, I chose orange, and place a drop on a sheet of paper. Use the toothpick to dip into the drop and dot your nails. Make a horizontal line across the nail like I did below. 

Step3. Use the second color and repeat the same steps to make a row right next to the original line. I chose a blue polish. I think it looks really nice when you use contrasting colors next to each other. 

Step4. Keep adding rows of dots with various colors. You can follow my color scheme if you like it! 

Step5. Add a top coat to seal in the design and make it shine!

City Skyline Nails

Hey everyone! I know I've been gone for so long, but I finally started doing nail art again, so I have more tutorials! Today I have a City Skyline tutorial in honor of me getting into New York University! Anyways, hope you enjoy it!

Step1. Start by applying a base coat and a light base color. You can use white, pink, nude, or any light shade. I chose pink.

Step2. Pick 3 colors for the night sky and apply them on a makeup sponge like this. I chose blue, pink, and purple. I think it would look better with darker blue, but I didn't have any available so I used what I had. 

 

Step 3. Place the sponge on each finger, and reapply the polish when necessary. You should get something like this. Don't worry if it's not perfect, because the base will mostly be covered anyways. 

Step4. Apply a sparkly silver polish on top to blend out the colors a bit more and too add a sparkle.

Step5. Paint some random sized black rectangles on the base of each nail. These will be the buildings.

Step6. Add white dots in even lines on each building to be windows. Then apply a top coat and you are done!
